Prototype HTML docs for LEARN

These sample documents have been prepared to illustrate a few of the methods used in portions of the LEARN project. They are very rough drafts with little or no polish.

Filing Eligibility
The LEARN system will assist in the decision as to which chapter to file under the bankruptcy code. A question-answer session will eventually lead to a recommendation of Chapter. Each question is equiped with a reference to the section of law relevant to that question. (At the moment, these sections of law are not on-line, codification of that data is among the first steps in assembling LEARN).

Prototype Document Assembly
Data collected through an interview process (to be directed by LEARN) can be gathered, and inserted into a document which may be delivered to the desktop word processor. This prototype demonstrates, in a trivial case, that data may be inserted into a formatted document, and opened using a word processor capable of reading RTF formatted text.

Bankruptcy Questionaire
This is a sample of a Questionaire, and how its input fields might be formatted. Data from this questionaire may be used to make decisions later, and will certainly be used to assemble the pleading, as well as payment schedules, and accounts (using technology similar to that employed in the second sample above).

Value of the Homestead Exemption
The LEARN system will assist the debtor who is subject to the analysis of 11 U.S.C. ยง 522(o), (p), or (q).

Exemption Eligibility
The LEARN system will assist the debtor in the decision as to which exemptions (federal or state) are available.
